Create screen prints informed by sewing papers and different types of stitches. Those who attended the previous workshop are invited to bring their drawings to work with.
Each workshop has an option to create work independently, however shared pieces between participants is encouraged! No previous experience of working with these processes is necessary.
This series is led by Kirsty Russell a multi-disciplinary visual artist, her work is concerned with support, and structures that underpin and maintain. Her work expands into places of care, such as hospitals and schools, through project worker and other supporting roles. A collection of sewing papers held in Glasgow Women’s Library Archives was the inspiration for this workshop series.
