Following a successful tour of the UK, In Place makes a welcome return to soundfestival for a mini-tour of Aberdeenshire.
In Place is an evocative song-cycle for vocalist and ensemble which explores a sense of place in the British Isles.
The work features new writing from writers including Robert MacFarlane and also features work from Aberdeen writer and poet Nan Shepherd, best known for her masterpiece of mountain literature ‘The Living Mountain’.
This is a bespoke, unplugged version, as a more intimate experience involving additional materials.
