Join our brand new Introduction to Woodwork workshop for children aged 10 or over.
This is a great opportunity to introduce kids to the basics of woodworking in a fun and interactive session with our expert tutor, Stuart. During the workshop, they will learn how to measure, cut, drill, shape and assemble wooden parts to create their own traditional spinning football rattle to take home with them!
This project will teach them how to confidently and safely use a variety of woodworking tools and techniques and will cover general health and safety, and workshop do’s and don’ts.
For children aged between 10-12 years old, an adult or guardian is required to accompany them. For children aged 12+ years this is optional and they are able to come along unaccompanied if they wish.
Tickets are priced for 1 child plus 1 adult (optional for those over 12 years of age). Please note that adults accompanying a child will be working together with them on one project. If you wish to work on separate projects, then please book more than one space.
No previous skills, experience or knowledge are required and all materials, tools and equipment will be provided.
Coffee and tea is provided and a short refreshment break is factored in to keep those creative juices flowing. Please bring your own lunch or snacks as this is not included in the workshop.
