Following recent guest appearances with The Jesus and Mary Chain, Isobel Campbell’s 2019 signing to fabled indie/roots imprint Cooking Vinyl - nine long years since her last recorded output, partly mired in contractual limbo - heralded the Belle and Sebastian alumna’s fervently-anticipated eighth solo album. After previous cherished releases ranging from lush, bittersweet folk-pop to Billie Holiday covers, plus three stunning duo records with Mark Lanegan, this will be some homecoming gig.
Over the past decade, Hannah Fisher & Sorren Maclean have absorbed a wealth of collaborative experience touring, writing and recording with various artists including Roddy Woomble, King Creosote, Idlewild and Mull Historical Society, to name a few. The duo will perform songs from their back catalogue as well as debuting new music from their forthcoming album.
Nina Violet has been touring in bands and solo since she was fifteen as a singer, songwriter, composer, and multi-instrumentalist. She has contributed to many albums with her string and wind arrangements and performance, and is a familiar fiddle presence in Willy Mason’s band for the last 15 years. Currently she lives aboard her little green sailboat on the San Francisco Bay, and works as a marine mechanic.
