John Edge & The Kings of Nowhere return to Glasgow ahead of the release of their debut album. The band provide an energetic live show with songs about love, life, death, and all else in between. The Edinburgh based band are genre defying, yet perhaps described as euphoric folk fused with post-rock. The band carry an abundance of raw power, melodious songs, huge dynamics, and all is fused together and driven by Edge’s enchanting lyrics and totality on stage. Everything the band has to offer is poured out in their performance.
CLASH ~ “Edge is a supple, entrancing songwriter. An artist of real power… Easy on the ear yet intensely emotional.”
GINGER are a 4-piece band bringing uplifting rock tracks, four part harmonies, funk and soul. They take inspiration from the likes of Weezer, Bon Iver, and The Rolling Stones.
Northern Ireland’s Fionn Crossan recently released his debut EP ‘Untitled’ at the tail end of last year. Both a testament and challenge toward the legacy of acoustic singer-song writing, Fionn’s music develops an emotive mix of coming of age narrative with raw, solo-guitar. Think the love child of Bon Iver’s Justin Vernon and Ben Howard, with a splash of Bob Dylan.
