Are you looking to find a choir?
The Kilmarnock Rock Choir is led by Ayreshire based musician Lauren McGarrigle. The choir will be performing locally again soon so it's a chance for you to join in, sing and perform without pressure and under the supportive guidance of Lauren. Rock Choir members have performed and sung across the country at venues including Wembley Stadium for the record breaking Saracens versus Harlequins rugby league game in 2012, Eurodisney and many more iconic landmarks. The choir also has a charitable function in raising money and awareness for Missing People and Refuge.
Whether you only sing in the shower or along to your car radio, or whether you see yourself belting out a showstopper in front of an audience of thousands, there's a place for you in the Kilmarnock Rock Choir. With no singing audition or need to read music, anyone can come along to a FREE taster session and see what all the fuss is about!
Here is a quote about our choir - 'I looked for years for somewhere to sing with others, but never found a group that sang a wide range of songs that you looked forward to singing with a smile on your face and a swing in the hips. Rock Choir arrived and filled that void, I'm still smiling.' - Isabel (Rock Choir Member)
Rock Choir is a winner of the Red Ribbon 'Big Heart' Award [https://rockchoir.com/awards-achievements/]. and holds 1 former and 2 current Guinness World Records. The choir is also credited with single handedly starting the contemporary choir movement.
