The King’s Theatre first opened its doors to audiences on 11 September 1912. Since then the great and the good of the theatre world have given a fantastic variety of performances to thousands of audience members. During that time relatively few members of the public have had the opportunity to visit backstage. However, that’s all changed! If you would like to hear about the King’s rich history and have a look behind the scenes, this is your opportunity. Please note, there are a limited number of places available per tour. Restrictions: No unaccompanied children. No children under 8 years. There are no lifts in the building and many stairs, therefore unfortunately the tour is not advised for anyone with mobility difficulties.
