A lively performance from this quintessentially Quebecois band, combining excellent musicianship with an engaging stage presence.
Never failing to delight crowds with a glorious mix of fiddle and foot tapping, guitar, accordion, piano, bass, hurdy-gurdy and wonderful four-part harmonies, the band delivers catchy songs and tunes inspired and influenced by Québec’s traditional folk styles. Having performed across Canada, the US and in over 15 European countries, Le Vent du Nord is considered a driving force in progressive folk, capturing the energy and mirth of a Saturday night kitchen party, infusing old Québec with a breath of fresh, cosmopolitan air.
