In 1923, the world famous Dublin based Stained Glass Artist “Harry Clarke”
was commissioned by the Sisters of Notre Dame De Namur.
The sisters asked Clarke to make a Memorial Window to celebrate 25 years
of their teaching convent and to commemorate fallen soldiers of WW1
The result. Now on display at Kelvingrove, it is a stunning window of colour.
Bring the family along and make a mini light catcher in the style of Clarke’s window
to hang in your window at home.
