Light out of Darkness
10.30am - 3.30pm
Join Susannah Cavill for a workshop focussing on our wellbeing. You will work in charcoal exploring the qualities of light and darkness to create portraits, inspired by the practice of Peter Howson.
Light - what we choose to show that has been brought into the consciousness of day.
Darkness - What remains hidden, the night and dreams.
Making or appreciating art can help all of us explore our emotions, develop self-awareness, acquire stress management techniques, boost self-esteem, and enhance our social abilities.
All materials will be provided, but if you would like, you can bring a journal for reflection and some photographs of yourself or others to use as a reference.
