In this illustrated lecture curator Paula Williams explores the National Library of Scotland's collections to see how maps have been portrayed in literature. Paula Williams is Curator of Maps, Mountaineering & Polar Collections at the National Library of Scotland. A degree in geography with options in glaciology and cartography, and a background in community libraries are combined in Paula’s perfect job. It allows her to develop her interest in maps, exploration and discovery.
