For October we have a special Little Seedlings holiday club where your little ones can learn all about pumpkins
Book in for one of the sessions to take a closer look at the the pumpkin including where it originated from through to why its associated with October and Halloween, and how the tradition of carving pumpkins began
The workshop will cover:
What pumpkins are and their history
Whether they’re a fruit or vegetable
The origins of the name ‘pumpkin’ and the heaviest pumpkin on earth
Different kinds of pumpkins
How pumpkins can be cooked and eaten
How pumpkins grow and their life cycle
Why we carve pumpkins and why they’re associated with October
Creating your very own 3d paper pumpkin

Children must be accompanied by a parent or guardian.
Where stores are running multiple sessions it is the same workshop delivered at each one.
Parents or guardians wishing to order hot drinks for the session in advance can do so during the booking process.
Dates and times for our Little Seedlings Clubs vary by store and not all stores are able to participate.
Advance booking is required with spaces booked quickly – please book early to avoid disappointment.
