Come in from the cold this winter and join Surgeons Hall Museums for our new series of bite sized lunch time talks. In this lunch time talk Surgeons Hall Museums Project Assistant Danielle Dray will discuss a brief history of medical illustration, its changing purpose, and the women who led the way in professionalising medical art. This talk will focus on the pioneering women who founded the Medical Artists Association of Great Britain, and their legacy. Talks will last approximately 30mins and there will be teas and coffees available for ticket holders.
