Schumann Piano Trio No 2 in G minor
Haydn Piano Trio No 44 in E major
Piazzolla ‘Summer’ from Four Seasons
The Lark Piano Trio
Prizewinners from the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland the Lark Trio bring us great piano trios. As well as being the ‘father of the symphony’ (104 of them!) Haydn also left us 45 piano trios fizzing with all his originality and charm. Schumann’s G minor trio is straight from the shoulder romanticism. What better to finish a programme than tango composer Astor Piazzolla’s take on Summer?
