Ethel Smyth Horn Trio
Brahms Horn Trio
Ben Goldscheider, horn
Calum Smart, violin
Richard Uttley, piano
Ben Goldscheider leapt to fame as a BBC Young Musician finalist and is now regarded as one of the finest horn players of today. Brahms’s horn trio is one of his most beautiful chamber works and it is paired with a rare work by the underrated Ethel Smyth.
