Chris’s Gigs has lined up another coup as much loved duo Mairearad Green and Anna Massie prepare to descend on Comrie on Saturday April 6th. Fresh from a UK tour in November 2018 and a sell out performance at Scotland’s biggest music festival, Celtic Connections, Mairearad and Anna will be on the road again shortly on an extensive tour which takes them to Comrie via Wales, London, Newcastle and other places in between. In an intimate gig in the White Church, the duo will be performing material from their fourth album, ‘Farran’, combined with some familiar favourites, one or two completely new songs and all delivered with their intensely warm and friendly stage presence. Supporting Mairearad and Anna will be an exciting young band called No Marcs, who are from the wilds of Killin, Balquhidder and Tyndrum. With ages between 6 and 14, this young troupe of musicians are taught by multi instrumentalist and educator, Marc Fallon. Coming together to practice isn’t easy but is a lot of fun and they are delighted to be able to show off their musical talents at the White Church.
