Try the exciting art of Linocut Printmaking! In this 3h workshop, we will learn how to transfer and image from a photograph to the lino and carve and print an A4 size linocut portrait. The workshop is designed for beginners and experienced lino cutters alike, children over the age of 8 and adults.
Please send us an image you would like to work with, before the workshop so we can prepare it for you. All other tools and materials will be provided and are included in the price of the workshop,
Your workshop leader:
Marta Adamowicz - a visual and sound artist of Polish origin, based in Glasgow. Her artwork has been a part of an RGI exhibition (2017), Clydeside Annual exhibition 2017 (considered for best in show), Society of Women Artists Open 2018 in Mall Galleries in London, RSA open 2018 and SSA 2018. Her sound work has been showcased on many platforms around Scotland, including Glasgow International festival 2018, Transmission gallery, Radiophrenia Glasgow and Radio Borealis festival in Bergen. She has received the An Talla Solais award for one of her linocut prints on the RSA Open exhibition in 2018, which resulted in a residency in the summer of 2019.
