The Mountain Bike World Cup is two great days of competition, plus lots of other activities in and around the World Cup Village, reaching a climax on Sunday with the traditional Fort William closing event - the Downhill.
The action-packed weekend event will feature over 250 of the world’s greatest downhill riders. Among the riders battling out in the second stage of the sport’s premier competition are sporting superstars Rachel Atherton, Danny Hart and Greg Minnaar.
As well as showcasing the very best of the sport, the event offers a great family day out complete with demonstrations, displays and entertainment as well as the Scottish Cycling Mini Downhill finals, all set in the picturesque surroundings of the Nevis Range.
Each year, more and more fans flock to the Fort William for the only UK leg of the UCI Mountain Bike World Cup. As well as being recognised by the public, the event has also been honoured with 33 international and national awards.
The Tech area and the Expo area include a wide range of trade stands offering all the latest mountain bike goodies, demonstrations, food and drink, support competitions and some unusual entertainment!
The Fort William event is a favourite amongst riders and spectators alike and is growing year-on-year so make sure you get your tickets early.
