Born and bred in Glasgow, headliner Christopher Macarthur-Boyd is Scotlands foremost purveyor of sad clever stand-up that is immaculately crafted and laugh-out-loud funny.
2024 saw Christopher release his debut stand-up comedy special Oh No! with 800 Pound Gorilla Media and launch the hugely popular-chart topping comedy podcast Here Comes The Guillotine with Frankie Boyle and Susie McCabe. After a sell-out run at the Fringe, CMB has been touring the UK and Ireland with his hit-show Scary Times, culminating with his biggest show to date at the 1500 seater Pavilion Theatre in Glasgow.
Star of Comedy Central Live, Christopher has also co-starred in two series of BBC Scotlands Up For It, hosted BBC Scotlands stand-up vehicle, The Comedy Underground, appeared on Frankie Boyles New World Order (BBC Two) and has made multiple appearances on the Scotland Made Me series. Christopher is also a regular on BBC Scotlands Breaking The Newsand has made appearances on BBC Radio 4 Extras Stands Up At The Fringe, BBC Radio 4s Fred at The Stand, and Russell Kanes Evil Genius for BBC Sounds. Christopher has written for shows such as 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Late Night Mash.
