Writing is a great way to support our wellbeing, but where do you begin? In a world which leaves little time for reflection and creativity, writing has many benefits. It can allow you to organise your thoughts, process emotions and boost your imagination.
This year Craigsfarm Community Development Project’s mindful writing programme has linked with Scotland’s Year of Stories. They are inviting residents of Craigshill to come along and use the mindful writing course as an opportunity to be playful, experiment with a range of writing approaches, focus on your wellbeing and learn to unwind while at the same time capturing the stories, past and present of Craigshill.
With Livingston turning 60 this year, Craigsfarm plan to memorialise all of the stories with a film and a book – an official launch event will take place later in the year!
