The Padel Open Day on Sunday 22 September will be free to attend, and all attendees will have an opportunity to try out the game of Padel. Padel, which is the fastest growing sport in the world is a cross between tennis and squash and is extremely popular across Europe. It uses the tennis scoring system and has very similar balls, but it is played on a court with enclosed glass walls much like a squash court.
Rackets and balls will be provided and there will opportunities to win t-shirts and an array of prizes throughout the day. More information on the open day can be found at game4padel.com and the G4P Facebook page: https://www.facebook.com/game4padel/
There will also be a soft launch period before the open day where people can book a Padel court for free by simply registering on game4padel.com. After the open day, no membership of the club is required to continue to use the facility, players are just required to register their details through the official booking system on the website where they can then pay a monthly subscription for access.
