This event brings together individuals in recovery from alcohol and substance misuse. It is a day of celebration, shared hopes and connection. Family, friends, loved ones, carers, pets and even health care professionals are welcome on the day who support and have been affected by substance misuse are also very welcomed.
Historically September is deemed Recovery Month. Edinburgh alcohol and addiction services have worked jointly to organise this event and join in the celebration that take part across the world in September. There will be snacks, games, football, a golf tournament, a silent disco, arts and crafts and musicians to entertain you.
There is access to Barclay Viewforth church to use facilities and we'll be hosting some activities indoors. Please bring a blanket or chairs to sit on and some food. Please respect the ethos of recovery and no alcohol or drugs permitted.
We will be located in the Meadows, on the grass just behind Barclay Viewforth church. Hope to see you there!
