Sat 28th Sept from 4pmUphall Station Mini Pipe Band to open the showRona Wilkie - 2012 BBC Young Traditional Musician of the Year. Oban fiddler Rona Wilkie is an award-winning fiddle player and Gaelic singer from the Highlands. Rona grew up in a musical family, and was simultaneously trained in both Highland fiddle style and classical music.Tarneybackle - traditional and contemporary folk. The band sing mainly Scottish folk songs, adding in some tunes and material from North America and Ireland. Close harmony singing is Tarneybackles hallmark.Bookends - Gerry Callaghan writes short, punchy story-songs in both the Scottish folk and Americana styles. Hes backed by the fine guitarist and multi-instrumentalist John Farrell.Marc Duff - Marc was a founder member of the award-winning folk-rock band Capercaillie.
