Classic lunchtime theatre is back!
Following the huge success of Rapture Bites 2019, acclaimed theatre company Rapture Theatre return with Rapture Bites 2020.
The Shawl by David Mamet
Miss A is visiting psychic John because she wants to contact her dead mother. But is John all that he seems, are Miss A’s motives as pure as she says and what is the true meaning of the shawl? The play twists and turns, scams and deceives right to the very end!
David Mamet is one of the world’s most acclaimed playwrights with plays such as Glengarry Glen Ross, Speed the Plow, Boston Marriage and Oleanna.
The Shawl is a miniature masterpiece, described by respected critic Michael Billington as a “wonderful play” and will continue Rapture’s tradition of presenting the very best of modern American theatre.
Enjoy great company, a light lunch and a classic short play!
