Join us in the garden, bring a picnic, and enjoy brilliant songs and stories from The Great American Songbook
We are hoping for a fine day for this outdoor afternoon concert featuring Charlie-Jade Jones (soprano) and Musical Director Connor Fogel (piano). Bring a picnic, and come and enjoy some great music and tales.
Remember is based on Charlie-Jade’s debut album and has been described as a ‘love letter’ to The Great American Songbook.
The show features brand new arrangements of songs by composers including Richard Rodgers, Irving Berlin, Cole Porter and Jerome Kern (to name just a few) with some of the stories behind the songs and their writers.
Charlie-Jade Jones is noted for her warm, versatile vocals and engaging storytelling. Charlie-Jade’s career so far has been eclectic and wide-ranged. Since graduating with Distinction from the Royal Academy of Music, London, her career has blossomed with numerous concerts, principal soprano roles, recordings and broadcast work.
As a pianist, Connor Fogel has been the recipient of several prizes and is the Andrew Lloyd Webber Associate Musical Director of The Royal Central School of Speech and Drama. Credits include Royal Shakespeare Company (Barbican, UK, US and Asian Tour), ITV1, various record labels, and he performs regularly in London’s West End.
