ROKA Workshops Summer Art School for children aged 10 - 15 aims to give young people a varied experience of art disciplines such as drawing and mark making, painting, photography, Environmental Art, printing and sculpture. Each day will be split into small individual and group projects that will be linked to an artist and skill.
At the end of the week there will be an opportunity for family to come and see an exhibition of the work produced.
ROKA Workshops is run by Karen and Robert who have a combined 21 years Art teaching experience across a range of disciplines including painting, drawing, sculpture, photography, animation and design. Teaching children aged 11 to 18 across a variety of levels from Nat 3 – Nat 5, NPA and Higher. This includes Art & Design, Photography, Creative Digital Media and Creative Industries
They both have experience of planning and leading day and residential trips at home and abroad. This has included taking pupils to London, Berlin and Prague. Both Robert and Karen are GTCS registered and are full members of the PVG (Protecting Vulnerable Groups) scheme.
