With its plagues of flies and frogs, its impenetrable darkness and flashes of lightning, _Israel in Egypt_ tells the story of Exodus, as Moses and the Children of Israel flee Egypt and make their perilous crossing of the Red Sea – in some of Handel’s most colourful, intensely expressive music. Egarr is joined by six brilliant soloists and the SCO Chorus for this gripping, galvanising choral masterpiece.
