SCO Summer Tour: Bohemian Dances
The Scottish Chamber Orchestra Wind Soloists invite you to join them on a thrilling tour of Europe, all on the theme of dance.
We make brief stopovers in London and Paris before reaching our main destination: the wilds of Bohemia (now the Czech Republic), where lively music by Janáček and Dvořák awaits us.
Mladi (meaning Youth) evokes carefree childhood through folk melodies and a delightful march, while traditional dances alternate with depictions of the Bohemian countryside in the Czech Suite.
