The legendary Scottish Fiddle Orchestra is delighted to be returning to its spiritual home, the Music Hall in Aberdeen, almost 40 years after its very first concert there in 1980. Those 40 years have seen it go from strength to strength playing all the major concert halls in Britain . From the Albert Hall and the Barbican in London to several foreign tours to Canada , USA and China, to this year’s tour to the northern isles with concerts in Shetland and Orkney with a stop off at a distillery where an impromptu ceilidh delighted the assembled tourists. Join the Orchestra and it’s guests of singers and a pipe band for a toe tapping evening of traditional Scottish music and song.
