Cluny is a wonderful woodland garden treasured by many. Being positioned on a slope rising above the River Tay, trees thrive in the conditions and you can see 34 recordable specimens, 23 of which are remarkable or of champion status for the county. Not to be missed, and you won’t, are two Giant sequoias with enormous girths. Cluny is not a classical arboretum but a fascinating garden with an exciting selection of trees and plants producing vibrant colours and bountiful berries in autumn. Fungi, birds and insects also flourish and you can watch Red Squirrels for hours or even blether to the owners!
