Shetland's textile industry celebrates the sheep that catapulted it to fame masterclasses, workshops and events led by professionals from the textile and design industry, along with a makers market and exhibitions.
It's a celebration of Britain's most northerly sheep and the fantastic textile heritage of Shetland. Now in its sixth year, the festival will feature exhibitions, classes and events, covering everything from weaving and spinnign to dyeing and Fair Isle. Events take place in many locations across Shetland from the southern tip all the way up to Unst, our northernmost island, which is famous for its beautiful lacework.
