Once upon a time, in a far-off place (no, not Dinnet... even more remote than that), live King Stephan and Queen Drottning. They had longed for a daughter, and so, Princess Aurora was conveniently born.
Aurora's Christening party was a spectacular event, with queues to get in going all around the castle. Not even Phillip Schofield or Holly Willoughby would've managed to scrounge their way in.
At her party, Aurora is blessed by three good fairies (and one befuddled quine with fairy ambitions), with the gifts of great beauty and song. However, the evil fairy Carabosse is not invited and when she finds out, she and Stinky (her evil henchman) together with the most random selection of minions you've ever seen, seek revenge and curses our heroine. Her curse is that Aurora will prick her finger and die.
Can the good fairies protect Aurora? Will Prince Valiant save the day? How does the castle survive with a silly jester, a daft nanny and a camp chamberlain holding the fort? And why are there so many questions?
A rip-roaring tale from start to finish, Sleeping Beauty definitely won’t send you to sleep!
