This is a common theme across all song genres. Come and join the multi-talented fiddler and singer Gillian Frame for a hearty singing workshop getting into the nitty-gritty of Scotland’s rich heritage of lost loves, broken hearts and dreams! This is open to all ages and abilities with no need to read music, and Gillian promises you will not leave feeling downhearted; you’ll leave with a wealth of songs to add to your repertoire!
This event will take place in the Clyde Foyer of the Glasgow Royal Concert Hall.
All songs will be taught by ear, no need to read music. Sunday 5th will finish with a big sing for all participants after the last workshop, between 3.30-4pm, in the Green Room, then a mass group sing on the main staircase. Workshops £10 each.
Suitable for adults and children over 12, unless otherwise stated.
The Celtic Connections programme of workshops is designed to inspire people of all ability levels to get involved in traditional music. Please book early to avoid disappointment, as numbers are limited.
