Pupils from St Leonards School, in collaboration with the University of St Andrews, present a stimulating evening of discussion around the issue of climate change. ‘The Burning Question’ aims to debate how we can mitigate the effects of climate change over the next 20 years. The evening will feature speakers including politicians, charity representatives and academics from the University of St Andrews. The audience will hear about new technologies designed to combat climate change, as well as legislative standpoints and how the situation is affected by international relations. The audience will also have a chance to share their views, and discuss issues raised by the speakers.
The event is free and starts at 7pm. Tickets available to book through the Byre. All are welcome – from school pupils to university students and beyond.
