This year's Festival explores a wild array of wildnesses, with environmental and landscape poetries, plus special guests Linton Kwesi Johnson, Elizabeth-Jane Burnett and Hollie McNish.
Expect unrestrained performances, poetics that resist or re-wild existing forms, poetries that challenge cultural and political norms. Wildly out-of-the-box, boundary-defying thinking and writing. Work that contests notions of ‘wildness’, ‘wilderness’ and ‘re-wilding’, and how these terms have been used.
Involving well over 100 poets and other artists from across Scotland, the UK and overseas, we’ll explore this and more in a wild long weekend of poetry, which will once more be delivered in hybrid form..
