Join the widely renowned Edinburgh Highland Reel Strathspey Society as they join with two of the groups who have been participating in this year's Stirling Bridge International Arts Festival.The Edinburgh Highland Reel and Strathspey Society was formed over 100 years ago by a group of people who wanted to foster the playing of traditional Scottish music. Their aim today is very much the same.In fact the EHRSS was founded in 1881 and was the first of the strathspey and reel societies to be established.Fiddle Frenzy is a performance group of fiddlers from Blair School of Music in Nashville, Tennessee ranging in age from 7-17. They have performed throughout the Nashville area: Today in Nashville, Schermerhorn Symphony, Franklin Theater, Nashville Christmas Parade, The Hermitage, 12 South Farmers Market, Nashville Irish Festival, Celtic Celebration, Tennessee Parks Greenways Foundation. The players are incredibly excited to be able to perform in Scotland this summer!The San Diego Childrens Choir is a non-profit organisation dedicated to providing the children and youth of San Diego, ages 4-18, with the opportunity for artistic and personal growth through choral music education. Selected repertoire is drawn from all periods, representing many styles to enhance individual musical growth.The Evening will end in a grand finale with all groups coming together to perform a well known Scottish piece under the direction of the festival's Artistic Director, Dean Marshall!This is a night not to be missed!
