Stranraer Oyster Festival is back with a bang in 2022! Three days of festivities, flavour and fun, overlooking beautiful Loch Ryan, on the first weekend of September.
Look forward to celebrity chef demonstrations, live music, family fun, artisan producers and thousands upon thousands of delicious native oysters at this sensational community-led festival!
General Admission tickets are on sale early this year so you can secure your spot, and the full programme, including celebrity chef demos and special guests will be announced in May.
If you've been to Stranraer Oyster Festival before then you'll know what's being served up - loads of deliciously tasty fun across multiple marquees that celebrate the very best of Stranraer, and its fabulous local native oyster bed.
Stranraer Oyster Festival is organised by Stranraer Development Trust, a community organisation committed to delivering a bright future for Stranraer, its businesses and its people. In a year of spiralling costs, organisers have pledged to keep admission costs for Stranraer Oyster Festival affordable, but to help with this people are being encouraged to book early. General admission is £5 per day or £10 for the full three-day event for over 16s, with concessions available. Under 16s are free of charge.
Stranraer Oyster Festival 2022 is supported by EventScotland and Dumfries & Galloway Council.
Book your tickets now, sign up to the Festival's e-newsletter, follow on Facebook and look forward to joining in the festivities on the first weekend of September to celebrate the return of south west Scotland's biggest food festival!
