One workshop, two sessions, running each month:
24th and the 31st of May from 17:30 to 19:00 pm.
21st and 28th of June from 17:30 to 19:00 pm.
Join our expert technician Thomas Greig as he delves inside desktops, laptops, and perhaps even the more exotic server, walking you through the common interchangeable parts that make up these devices.
This session will focus on laptops. This will cover the best practices for maintenance and also help find the safest way to access the devices. Going through the ways to maintain and upgrade the device to keep it working better for longer
This session will focus on PC's. This will explain how PC's work, how to keep them maintained and show how to disassemble and reassemble a PC completely. This will also be good for people looking to build their own PC in the future to give them helpful advice and safety tips
What you'll need to bring
Only yourself! We will provide protective gloves, electronic equipment and tools to teardown.
NOTE: This demonstration is not to serve as a formal lesson into computer repair, but rather an interactive guided tour that will give you a visual reference of their internal workings.
