The wait is over – Teeny Tiny Toddler Fest is coming back. When the big kids are back at school Camera Obscura and World of Illusions is inviting the littlest kids to come join the fun. For five days in January our attraction will be filled with workshops, games and exhibits for everyone to enjoy - especially aimed at teeny tiny toddlers.
In 2018 our Teeny Tiny Toddler Fest will begin on Monday 8 Jan and run until Friday 12 Jan. That’s five whole days of activities aimed at under 5s, including our favourites from the last three years. You can touch real clouds in our Cloud Factory, crawl through kaleidoscopes, fire straw rockets into the air and meet Cameron and Emma, our friendly Camera Obscura bears. We will even have some games from the scientists at the Wee Science Lab run by the University of Edinburgh.
Our usual five floors of exhibits are all ready for you to explore; swim without getting wet, make multi-colour shadows, shrink the adults and grow the toddlers or even make multiple copies of your kids (only for the brave parents).
We’ve had such a good response to our Quiet Room that we’re bringing it back once again for Teeny Tiny Toddler Fest ’18. This means that there will be a colourful space for tired tots to relax and snack away from the main attraction, and a place for parents to have an all-important cup of tea. We understand that toddlers rarely work to a schedule, and so our tickets are valid all day, on any day you chose to visit. The whole family is welcome to leave and come back throughout the day to get the most out of Teeny Tiny Toddler Fest ’18 and Edinburgh’s Old Town.
