There is a post-pandemic pandemic facing many of our emergency services, care-givers and front-line workers.
Increasing demand, mounting backlogs and rising financial pressures are putting more strain on teams and individuals who are already dealing with the weight of secondary traumatic stress and caring for other's physical, emotional and mental wellbeing.
These pressures can lead to burnout and compassion fatigue.
_'The Cost of Caring'_ seminar with Dr Don Lichi will tackle burnout and compassion fatigue head on, giving teams the tools and wellness strategies to deal with and prevent it from taking root in their lives and places of work.
Attendees will receive:
• Teaching on the causes and symptoms of compassion fatigue and burnout
• Strategies for response and tools to avoid development of burnout
• Tools to self care and mental wellness whilst supporting those in your care
• An opportunity to network with other guests and speakers
