The Scottish Quilting Show and The Creative Craft Show return to the SEC in Glasgow from 7th to 9th March, celebrating the skills and talents of artists and crafters; inspiring visitors to take up a hobby of their own.
The Scottish Quilting Show is a world-class showcase of patchwork and quilting bringing together a kaleidoscope of colourful galleries from leading quilt artists including Sarah Payne Quilter, Leah Higgins, Jennie Rayment, Golden Bobbins, Voyage Art Textiles and many, many more; there is a lot to excite and inspire.
As the one-stop patchworker’s paradise for Scotland, this is the show to visit for supplies, competitions, workshops and talks. Quilting competition entries will be on display and prizes awarded at the show during the prize giving ceremony.
This year we welcome back a new improved VIP Lounge for visitors, where you are guaranteed a seat and cuppa, plus you can leave your coats and bags, whilst you peruse the show in comfort. Included in the ticket price is a free workshop run by Sew Confident and a free gift from Vlieseline.
Taking place at the same time, and for the price of one ticket, those visiting the Scottish Quilting Show will also have access to The Creative Craft Show featuring papercraft demonstrations, jewellery making and beading as well as knitting, stitching and dressmaking. Visitors can boost their craft stash with the latest products from the world of creative craft and be inspired by new and exciting techniques and tips.
Experts in quilting, papercraft, glass fusion and beading will be running demonstrations and practical workshops as well as needle felting and stitching features.
Those visiting the Glasgow show can enjoy additional hobby and craft exhibitions for the same price. Crafters will be able to visit The Scottish Quilting Show and The Creative Craft Show with the same ticket.
