One of the biggest community art projects ever undertaken in Scotland produced perhaps the most incredible historical record of the nation: The Great Tapestry of Scotland. Panels detailing centuries of Scottish history were stitched by over 1000 volunteers from all corners of the country, taking more than 50,000 hours to complete. Today, two of the project’s pioneers come together to display and discuss the panels about, or stitched in, Fife: lead artist Andrew Crummy and stitch coordinator Dorie Wilkie.
