We're delighted to welcome back internationally renowned guitarist John Goldie joined by mandolin ace Adam Bulley and guitar maestro Chas MacKenzie,a duo who've already made quite a name for themselves as "Wingin' It". They'll be treating us all to a stunning selection of instrumentals and songs.
John is now recognised as one of the most revered players on the acoustic circuit, undertaking worldwide tours, taking in the USA, Asia & Europe as well as collaborating with some of the world’s greatest players, including Tommy Emmanuel, Ike Isaacs & George Benson. In fact, George asked John to play a private concert for him and his band after one of their concerts in Scotland. He was also asked recently to play with The Faces at the Royal Albert Hall, which he described as ‘a surreal but amazing experience!’
This exciting & virtuosic trio were formed to perform music written during lockdown, and influenced by old timey Bluegrass and the Nashville scene, past and present. The songs are an eclectic mix of breakneck speed picking, heartfelt ballads and some quirky takes on old favourites. Throw in some onstage banter and we're all set for an unforgettable evening of entertainment.
