This year Dingwall Players are presenting a brand-new pantomime, specially written for the group – ‘The Last Arabian Night’. Loosely based on a tale from 1001 Arabian Nights, ‘The Last Arabian Night’ begins with Shahrazad telling a story to her husband, the king - a story that could ultimately save her life. The story tells the tale of the fortunes of three children, wickedly abandoned by the jealous sisters of the children’s mother. Years later the children – two brothers and a sister – are grown up. One day they are approached by a strange woman, who sends them on a quest to find a talking bird, a singing tree and a river of golden water. One by one they set off, with varying degrees of success. Is there a happy ending? Is there a twist in the tale? And what are we going to call the camel? Come along and find out!
‘The Last Arabian Night’ will be presented in Dingwall Academy from Thursday 13th – Saturday 15th December with performances at 7.30pm plus a Saturday matinee at 2.30pm.
Tickets are £8 (£5 concession) and are available from Dingwall Model Shop or online at www.ticketsource.co.uk or by following the link on Dingwall Players website www.dingwallplayers.org For group bookings please call 07969 875202
