The Mash Up is Edinburgh's only Beer and Whisky Festival. Hosted at Holyrood Distillery, The Mash Up is a celebration of the city's rich brewing and distilling heritage, as well as a huge toast to the traditional Scottish 'hauf n hauf'.
Holyrood Distillery is situated in an area once known as the ‘Charmed Circle’, named after the abundant underground water supply and its vast collection of breweries and distilleries that were once here. With their brewing pals from all over Edinburgh, and new wave distilleries up and down Scotland, they are celebrating this rich history by hosting ‘The Mash Up’ – Edinburgh’s first 'hauf n hauf' beer and whisky festival.
Ticket holders will choose a specific timeslot during which they will enjoy the opportunity to sample beer and whisky from over 18 producers, meet the brewers and distillers, wander through Holyrood's city centre whisky distillery and brewing lab, and enjoy hauf n hauf whisky and beer pairings in the bar and courtyard.
