Raw food educator, Maari MaCormack, offers an ideal introduction to the wonderful, colourful world of the raw, plant-based, Dinner Party. This workshop will inform, inspire, and give plenty of opportunity for hands-on prep and tastings, all designed to awaken your curiosity for raw food, and give you the basic skills and know-how to introduce some nutritious, inspired dishes into your home hosting repertoire.
Impress your guests with a colourful array of starters, a main and a dessert, all surpisingly rich in taste, texture and visual appeal. Gluten, dairy and wheat free diets are catered for by the Raw Dinner Party.
Learn how to make a quick nut cheese with seed crackers, a colourful salad, and delicious spring rolls to start the evening. Then offer up an impressive courgette pasta with walnut meatballs. Finish the party with a raw, gluten, sugar and dairy free Banoffie Pie.
This workshop is held at the Edinburgh Larder, where a small kitchen keeps the experience fun and informal, with plenty of opportunity to observe demonstrations, taste, and try hands on raw food skills for yourself.
There will be tastings during the workshop, and take home treats to share with family and friends.
