The Tropicanas welcome you in from the cold winter evening to warm up and chill out!
Ironically named due to Scotland's often gloomy weather and their desire for warmer climates and surfier times, The Tropicanas represent West Lothian with their off kilter brand of chilled grooves! The Tropicanas combine inspirations from modern bedroom recorders, such as Mac DeMarco, Stevie R. Moore and Tame Impala, with Bossa Nova legends such as Jorge Ben Jor and João Gilberto creating a unique dream/jangle pop sound.
Supporting will be Fawkes with an electric live set crossing generations and genres, chocked full of hook heavy raw rock songs that are bound to get the crowd going, and Versino, who flirts with sombre and melancholic tones before throwing his powerful vocals into an upbeat jive and singalong.
