Like so many things, like so many relationships of any kind, The WAEVE was born out of an exchange of playlists. In the case of this British duo, behind those playlists there were two illustrious protagonists: after sharing their musical preferences after meeting in a backstage at the end of 2020, Graham Coxon (Blur) and Rose Elinor Dougall (former member of The Pipettes) decided to combine them in their own project and finally in some songs recorded in Coxon's home studio with the help of the Elysian Quartet. And now the two of them share their own collaborative playlist: press play, because The WAEVE's selection sounds like kraut, orchestral pop and trip-hop.
