Join us for our next Three on a Thursday Concert this month which explores the capacity of voice through two very different but exciting acts:
This season the programme remains eclectic and includes the following musicians:
Soprano, Gabrielle Sargent, began her musical education in classical singing in Malta at the age of 11. Now living in Edinburgh her opera roles include ‘Belinda’ in Purcell’s ‘Dido and Aeneas’, ‘Papagena’ in Mozart’s ‘The Magic Flute’ and 1st spirit in Massenet’s ‘Cendrillon’ with the Fife Opera Company.
Blair Coron, musician and composer residing in Glasgow, blends the borders between contemporary classical music, ambience, folk and poetry. Through music his primary intention is to create enchanting atmospheres that sets course for introspection and meditation.
Clio Scott, a young Edinburgh-based flautist, currently a student of St Mary’s Music School
Noah Brown, singer – songwriter, inspired by the likes of the Britpop greats, the Beatles and early Pink Floyd, his music can move between styles but is probably most comfortable in the Indie genre.
Event proceeds go towards supporting young musicians in Edinburgh.
