The programme offers local audiences of all generations the chance to connect and share their stories of growing up in the Highlands. The diverse stories captured through these events will go on to enrich the museum’s displays for future audiences.
The Story Sharing Sessions, which will take place throughout 2022, are relaxed and informal gatherings for those who wish to talk about their memories of growing up or raising their families in the Highlands, over a cup of tea and a biscuit. Each session will be themed around a specific aspect of Highland childhood or the local area and objects from the museum’s collection will be made available to inspire discussion.
